I got my bachelors in...

Amy leaves for San Diego for about a week; flying out tomorrow. It's for a non-profit conference where she'll see Jane Goodall and Bob Geldof speak. I am envious, for the trip, weather and atmosphere sound delicious- even though it has been more temperate here as of late. I am also struggling a bit financially- the temp gigs are not coming in.

So, instead I'll decompress, play a few video games and perhaps donate some plasma for some extra funds. No joke. Maybe it's a pride thing- expenses being what they are as of late, any extra cash is a good thing.

silver lining...?

You know, the few crazy jobs I've been doing lately have been quite challenging. But I have to say that they make me glad that my life is not like this all the time. Like the one guy with the wierd gut and the crazy hair. The dude looked like a recent transplant from the looney bin. He was actually nice, though. My other coworkers today had almost no personality to speak of. Amazing the little negotiation power that some people have with complete strangers.

I'm tired today, not having slept well last night and putting together shelves at the Woodbury Hallmark. I live to serve another day. And I care enough to assemble the very best.
